2 killed as landslide buries vehicles along Chitwan road

At least two persons died as a dry landslide buried some vehicles and motorbikes along the Narayangadh-Muglin road at Ghumane, Kabilas of Bharatpur, in Chitwan district on Monday. The duo died while being taken to a Bharatpur-based hospital after being rescued, police added. The victims are yet to be identified.Other two sustained injuries. A truck, a car, a van and three motorcycles were buried in the incident, the District Police Office informed.Police said the death toll may rise as the rescue efforts are underway.
