Police detain Baburam Bhattarai among dozens from demo outside EC

Police have detained Naya Shakti Party Nepal Coordinator Baburam Bhattarai among other leaders of fringe parties while they were staging a protest in front of the Election Commission Office at Kantipath on Sunday. Other arrestees include Parashu Ram Tamang and Hisila Yami of the NSPN and CP Gajurel of Mohan Baidya-led CPN-Revolutionary Maoist.
