    A team led by Banke Chief District Officer Rabi Lal Pantha on Saturday discussed with Indian border security officials the security arrangement for the May 14 local-level elections in Nepal. The discussion that took place at a bordering area of Bhagauda in Banke focused on poll-focused security cooperation between security agencies of the both countries along the border in Banke, said CDO Pantha. The security personnel team had reached the area as part of a security arrangement for the elections. The team also included
    District Police Chief Tek Prasad Rai, Lieutenant Colonel Bishworaj Koirala, election officers Madhav Sharma and Surendra Poudel. “Our team had asked for security cooperation from Indian security officials and in return we got their commitment in this regard,” said Pantha.
