The directorial debut of film critic Deependra Lama, is the first film of Khadka. But he is well known artist in the Nepali theatre. Khadka is affiliated with the capital based-Mandala Theatre since three years. With his impressive work in theatre, Rambabu Gurung offered him to work in the film. To get involved in the character of the police in the movie, he even had regular meeting with the police to understand the activities and attitude of them. “I think I have successfully executd the character

of the police in the film as per the demand of the script”, said Khadka. With the success of the debut film, Ankit is preparing to play in his second movie based on love story. He thinks to work in the theatre and in the film side-by-side is very tough.“It is not quite easy to play in the theatre and in the movie concurrently. Theatre is always my first priority but I will give continuation to the film also”, said Khadka. Born in Meghalaya of India and brought up in Langarche of Sindhupalchowk, Khadka claims that he is the die-heart fan of Rajesh Hamal. He dreamt to be an actor like Rajesh Hamal for which he gave up his studies.
